Weekly counts of all COVID-19 tests, positive tests and cases at Council Area (Local Authority) level.
Please note that the sum of tests and cases from all Council Areas may not match the number of tests and cases in the “Weekly tests and cases by Health Board” file. This is due to some tests being recorded with incomplete postcodes.
Data Dictionary

| WeekEnding | numeric | This represents the week a test or case was recorded, as the last day (Sunday) of that week. This is stored as a numeric in the format CCYYMMDD. | Council Area code, based on boundaries on 1st April 2019. Council area (Local authority) is assigned based on ECOSS postcode. If ECOSS postcode is missing the postcode on Community Health Index database is used; if the postcode is blank after the previous attempts, no council area is assigned. |
