Weekly Tests and Cases by Council Area
Weekly counts of all COVID-19 tests, positive tests and cases at Council Area (Local Authority) level.
Please note, the sum of tests and cases from all Council Areas may not match the number of tests and cases in the “Weekly Tests and Cases by Health Board” file. This is due to some tests being recorded with incomplete postcodes.
Data Dictionary
| Column | Type | Label | Description |

| WeekEnding | numeric | This represents the week a test or case was recorded, as the last day (Sunday) of that week. This is stored as a numeric in the format CCYYMMDD. |
|
| CA | text | Council Area code, based on boundaries as at 1st April 2019. Council area (Local authority) is assigned based on ECOSS postcode, if ECOSS postcode is missing we will then use the postcode on Community Health Index database, if the postcode is blank after the previous attempts, no council area is assigned. |

| WeeklyTotalTests | numeric | Total number of COVID-19 tests recorded in the last seven days |

| WeeklyTotalPositiveTests | numeric | Total number of positive COVID-19 tests recorded in the last seven days |
|
| WeeklyCases | numeric | Number of cases recorded in the last seven days |
|
| WeeklyPCROnlyCases | numeric | Number of PCR only cases recorded in the last seven days |

| WeeklyLFDOnlyCases | numeric | Number of LFD only cases recorded in the last seven days |
|
| WeeklyPCRAndLFDCases | numeric | Number of PCR and LFD cases recorded in the last seven days |
