Average Length of Stay
The mean and median length of stay across all sectors at council area and Scotland level in years.
'Complete length of stay' is calculated for long stay residents who were discharged from a care home during the census year and whose stay in the home has therefore ended.
'Incomplete length of stay' is calculated for residents who are still living in a care home at the end of the census year (31 March).
