Weekly number of laboratory tests and test positivity from CARI, for 9 respiratory conditions (COVID-19, Influenza (All, A or B), RSV (respiratory syncytial virus), Adenovirus, seasonal coronavirus (non-COVID-19), HMPV (human metapneumovirus), Parainfluenza (Any Type), Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Rhinovirus), broken down by Age group x Sex x Health Board.

CARI surveillance is a sentinel community surveillance programme currently covering about a quarter of Scottish GP practices. Samples are taken from all patients with respiratory symptoms meeting the case definition for acute respiratory infection (ARI) and submitted for testing for all 9 respiratory organisms.
