Antimicrobial text

Named antimicrobial. For those showing combinations (i.e. Cefotaxime/Ceftriaxone) these antibiotics have been considered interchangeable and the results have been combined.

SpecimenType text

Sample site of specimen, either blood or urine.

NumberTested numeric

Number of isolates tested per calendar year, organism, specimen and antimicrobial. Data are deduplicated on a rolling 14-day period for blood isolates, and rolling 30-day period for urine isolates.

Susceptible numeric

Number of isolates reported susceptible, as defined by the European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST) guidelines. Data are deduplicated on a rolling 14-day period for blood isolates, and rolling 30-day period for urine isolates.

SusceptibleAtIncreasedExposure numeric

Number of isolates reported susceptible at increased exposure, as defined by the European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST) guidelines. Data are deduplicated on a rolling 14-day period for blood isolates, and rolling 30-day period for urine isolates.

Resistant numeric

Number of isolates reported resistant, as defined by the European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST) guidelines. Data are deduplicated on a rolling 14-day period for blood isolates, and rolling 30-day period for urine isolates.
