MonthOfDelay numeric Data is recorded for all bed days occupied by people delayed in their discharge from hospital in the calendar month
CA text Each Council area has a unique nine digit code identifying the council area / local authority of residence for the delay, based on the boundaries as at the time of delay

ReasonForDelay text Reason for delay indicates the principal reason grouping for a person's delay at the end of the reporting month

AverageDailyNumberOfDelayedBeds numeric The average daily number of delayed beds is calculated by dividing the total number of delayed discharge bed days in the month by the number of days in the calendar month.
