Information on items prescribed and dispensed at prescriber location and dispenser location level, covering all January to June of 2025.
Data Dictionary
| Column | Type | Label | Description |

| PaidDateMonth | numeric | The month in which the prescription item was processed by DCVP, formatted as 'YYYYMM' e.g. '201701'. |
|
| PrescriberLocation | text | Each GP practice has a unique five digit numeric practice code identifying where the prescribing of an item took place. There are occasions where it is not possible to determine the exact location from which a prescription originates and in these cases the script is assigned to an unallocated practice code. |
|
| PrescriberLocationPostcode | text | Identifies the postcode of prescriber who prescribed the item. |
|
| PrescriberLocationType | text | Identifies where the prescription was written; Community Pharmacy, Dental Practice, GP Practice or Hospital Ward. |
|
| PrescriberType | text | Identifies the type of prescriber which wrote the prescription; Community Pharmacist, Dentist, General Practitioner, Hospital, Nurse or Pharmacy. |
|
| DispenserLocation | numeric | Each Dispenser has a unique four digit numeric code identifying where the dispensing of an item took place. |
|
| DispenserLocationPostcode | text | Identifies the postcode of dispenser which dispensed the item. |
|
| DispenserLocationType | text | Identifies the type of dispenser which dispensed the item; Appliance Supplier, Community Pharmacy, Dispensing Doctor or English Dispenser. |

| NumberOfPaidItems | numeric | The number of prescription items dispensed and for which the dispenser has been reimbursed. |
