Accuracy | Data are subject to validation and quality assurance procedures in PHS. In addition, screening lab leads, pregnancy and newborn screening NHS Board co-ordinators and NHS Board lead midwives have the opportunity to review data for their area prior to publication for data quality assurance. |
Continuity of data | Data are presented from 2019/20. SLiPBD includes data on all pregnancies booked for antenatal care from 1 April 2019, when antenatal booking collection returns to PHS commenced (one of the source datasets for SLiPBD). There are no known impacts on the continuity of data in this release. |
