Demographic information on those starting treatment at specialist drug and alcohol services (sex, age, ethnicity and disability).

| SubstanceType | text | Substance type of referral: alcohol, drugs or co-dependency (both alcohol and drugs). | |
| SubstanceTypeQF | text | Qualifier for SubstanceType. | |
| Measure | text | Number = the number of referrals that started first treatment. Note data relates to the number of referrals rather than number of individuals. Where people are referred to more than one service, they have more than one referral. Percentage = the percentage of referrals that started treatment during quarter in demographic categories, within corresponding group (service type and substance type). The denominator is the total number of referrals that started treatment during the quarter for the corresponding group (service type and substance type). | |
