From 1st December 2021 we are changing the update mechanism of the Daily COVID-19 in Scotland and COVID-19 Vaccination in Scotland datasets.
To allow new data to be fully processed and available at 14:00, the Daily COVID-19 in Scotland and COVID-19 Vaccination in Scotland datasets will be temporarily unavailable from 12:45 to 14:00. During this window, the datasets will not be visible and any queries made to these datasets will return a 404 – Not found error. At all other times the datasets will be available in full as usual.
From 1st December 2021, reporting of covid-19 vaccination in Scotland by health board and local authority breakdowns will be presented in multiple resources split by date of vaccination.
This change will affect the following resources:
Daily Trend of Vaccinations by Council Area – replaced with Daily Trend of Vaccinations by Council Area Dec 2020 – June 2021 and Daily Trend of Vaccinations by Council Area July 2021 – Dec 2021
Daily Trend of Vaccinations by Health Board – replaced with Daily Trend of Vaccinations by Health Board Dec 2020 – June 2021 and Daily Trend of Vaccinations by Health Board July 2021 – Dec 2021
This change doesn`t affect the data in these resources, simply separates the data for 6 month periods into individual files. Data from all resources will continue to be updated daily at 14:00.
In another change, we will move to 5-day (Monday to Friday) reporting of the Daily COVID-19 Data in Scotland and COVID-19 Vaccination in Scotland datasets from week beginning 6 December 2021, with weekend trend data now being reported on a Monday.
Headline figures will remain available on the Scottish Government website 7-days a week.
