Information on frequency of contact with unscheduled care services prior to death, for probable suicides registered in Scotland in 2018. The period for contact before death is 12 months for all services.
Please note this resource was released in February 2020, and is no longer updated due to changes made in the 2021 release of the ScotSID publication. The 2020 release of ScotSID Open Data looked only at unscheduled care services (NHS 24, Scottish Ambulance Service and GP Out-of-Hours); the 2021 release looks at a wider provision of healthcare services. Therefore, this resource may not be comparable with more recent data from the 2021 release.

| IndividualsCount | numeric | The total number of individuals whose underlying cause of death is classified as ‘intentional self-harm’ or ‘event of undetermined intent’. | |
| IndividualsCountQF | text | A qualifier to give extra information about the individual count. |
