Prior to 2016/17 there were payments for a Quality and Outcomes Framework, this framework was decommissioned in April 2016. Quality payments were made to practices for transitional arrangements in 2016/17, and in 2017/18 quality payments were made for cluster quality work. In 2018/19 a new GMS contract was introduced and for 2018/19 and 2019/20 quality payments have been for Total Quality Arrangements. From 2020/21 these payments are now included under Professionalism.
